U.S. City Leaders Tour Oasis!

On Friday, July 20th, nearly 30 leaders from cities across the United States came to Oasis Center for a tour and to learn about the cooperative that is the “Youth Opportunity Center”. These leaders are part of the larger organization, “National League of Cities” that meet regularly to discuss the challenges their communities are experiencing. By visiting other cities and organizations that are creating waves of change, they can observe, learn and take home potential solutions that can be employed in their home-towns.

We are very honored they chose to spend some time with us here at Oasis, and thank former board member and current city Councilman Ronnie Steine for allowing us the honor to share Oasis and the Youth Opportunity Center with them!
