Annual Fundraising Campaign
Donations to the Oasis Center Annual Fund provide the critical dollars to support our programs and operations. The annual campaign drive ends annually on June 30, however, gifts and pledges are received year-round. A variety of special benefits are offered to the donor at each giving level:
- Supporter ($1-$99)
- Friend ($100-$249)
- Patron ($250-$499)
- Palm Circle Member ($500 - $999)
- Safe Place Circle Member ($1,000 - $2,499)
- Mosaic Circle Member ($2,500-$9,999)
- Leadership Society Member ($10,000 and above)

Oasis Center’s Annual Fund Campaign is commonly referred to as "The Gathering Fund," and was named for the mosaic sculpture garden, “The Gathering,” located in front of the Oasis Center administrative building. The beautiful sculpture which was created by Nashville artist Sherri Warner Hunter to celebrate Oasis Center’s 30 years of service to the community. Composed of millions of multi-colored tiles, each hand-applied by youth and adult volunteers; the stylized figures represent the diversity of the community served by Oasis. Major Gifts
Major Gifts to Oasis, including Capital Campaign Gifts, Planned Gifts, Named Gifts and Memorials, secure the future of Oasis by providing funds to build buildings, create new living and learning spaces, establish programs, and allow the planning and completion of a variety of other long-term activities. These gifts will shape the future of Oasis for years to come.

Volunteers
Community volunteers serve a very important role in the ongoing operations and success of Oasis Center. A variety of ever-changing opportunities exist, some consisting of clerical duties such as data entry and helping with mass mailings. “Community Cares Night” at the Emergency Shelter: individuals and/or volunteer groups have the opportunity to cook dinner with teens staying in the shelter. A variety of activities, such as board games, arts projects, or simply “hanging out,” follow the dinner hour. Average time commitment: 2 hours per week
Emergency Shelter Volunteer: Volunteers are trained to spend informal time with the teens staying in the Oasis Emergency Shelter. Volunteers are also encouraged to use their specific interests, talents and skills with the teens. For example, volunteers who enjoy athletics can join shelter residents during an evening out at the local YMCA to teach them about weight training or fitness. This is a perfect opportunity for enthusiastic volunteers with demanding schedules. Average/suggested time commitment: 2-3 hours per week.
