Counseling

At the Oasis Center, our on-site team of counselors is highly experienced in meeting the needs of youth and families in crisis. Our counselors address a variety of issues including general family issues, educational difficulties, gender identity, sexual orientation, peer pressure, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, homelessness, runaway behavior, teen pregnancy, depression, and suicide ideation.

Oasis Center’s counseling services are offered on a sliding fee scale to the public and are provided at no charge to clients in our residential and outreach programs.

Meet Cala- Oasis’ Therapy Dog

Our counseling staff helps our clients address the crisis at hand, create a long-term plan for healing and learn to identify and develop positive relationships and connections within their own community that can help them avoid further crisis situations.

Upon exit, 95% of our young people in counseling identified that they were more engaged in positive relationships with caring adults in their community than before receiving services.
